About Us
Our mission at Steel City Pediatric Dentistry is to make your kiddos excited to visit the dentist- with a friendly, hometown Pittsburgh feel! We pride ourselves in explaining everything to kids in terms that make sense, in order to alleviate their fears. Educating the parents and giving them all treatment options is something we feel is important, as every child and every situation is unique. Dr. Meyers has taken many continuing education courses to be able to offer top-notch care, including white (zirconia) crowns and laser frenectomies and tongue-tie releases.
Meet the Doctor
Dr. Alexis Meyers
Dr. Alexis Meyers was born a Florida girl. Although the beach is pretty, she did NOT love the heat! Her mom was born and raised in Irwin, PA, and those family ties and Yinzer roots always brought Dr. Meyers back to the Keystone State. From a young age, she always enjoyed going to Steelers, Penguins, and Pirates games. She has come to love the change in seasons, the pierogi festival, and the many night markets around Sewickley throughout the year.

Curtis Mackall - Dental Assistant
Hey! I’m Curtis. I grew up in East Palestine, OH, and spent a lot of my time going to Camp Fitch (YMCA). This led me to spend many years as a camp counselor. I went to Ohio Valley College of Technology for Dental Assisting, and I love to go on hikes, play basketball, listen to live music and explore with my pup! My favorite part of the job is getting to have the funniest, coolest conversations with kids everyday.

Hailey Staudt - Expanded Functions Dental Assistant
Hi! I’m Hailey. I grew up in Lawrenceville, PA then moved to Shaler, PA. My favorite part of my job is educating about oral hygiene and helping little smiles.
